Your Task
Design a ladder diagram to control a simple (i.e. not at a junction) UK style Pedestrian Light Controlled
Crossing using a state driven design process.
Figure 1 is given as a reminder of the various hardware components.
Restrictions: The traffic light must remain green for a set minimum time, even if a pedestrian wants to
cross before that time has elapsed.
Assume that the amber traffic lights and green man flash in synchronism.
